Recultivation

Our employees have participated in the recultivation of the   tailings in the area of Zbůch since 2009. We have helped to recultivate the site affected by human activities to green areas. We have supervised the recultivation. The dustiness of the site (the slag heap is from crushed fire clay) has substantially decreased on very windy days and a life has returned to the slag heap step by step.

Our employees took part in the construction of a plant for the substrate reculativation production in 2010. The projected capacity is 750,000 m3 of input material. The plant uses biodegradable wastes and sludges from sewage-treatment works. The plant produces reculativation substrate and compost with a special large-capacity compost turning machine.

PILSEN TECHNOLOGIES were in particular in charge of the following tasks:

  • Planning;
  • Construction document preparation;
  • Geological and botanical surveys;
  • Preparation of documents for the environmental impact assessment;
  • Drafting operational regulations for the facility; and
  • Preparation of documents for a subsidy application.

The operations are supervised by material suppliers who are interested in where their wastes end up and how they are managed. Our objective has always been the best possible waste treatment with regard to the environment and applicable legislation. If you are interested in compost plants, do not hesitate to contact us. We will be happy to show you around the compost and recultivation substrate plant. This project has resulted in more modern waste treatment – see the Cirkulazce 1 project.
